SCORCHER AT BLACKPOOL

The end of an era nearly for Blackpool trams, I suppose just the September celebrations and it will nearly all be history,. It was a super hot sunny day with not a cloud from start to finish. I'm afraid its the last Totally Transport we'll attend with the stand, it really never took off and has had the dubious honour having the lowest takings three years running of any event we've been to, didn't even cover expenses this time. The trams more than made up for it, due to redevelopment work for the new light rail the trams terminated at Pleasure Beach. I got a bus up to North Pier, took 30 minutes waiting and about 45 mins to get there via a load of diversions. It wasn't much better getting back this afternoon, advertised service is a bit optimistic, grumpy driver as well. Due to football the road home was quiet, not sure who won, think Germany was winning when we left Blackpool, hopefully we'll get telly programmes back to normal if England are out.  The York and Yorkshire DVDs should be ready this week along with Blackpool, remember that EBay only has oldies and bargains our full shop is on Amazon links via the web site http://www.pmpfilms.com/, trailer via hyperlink to Youtube, when you watch them click an advert or two costs you nowt helps pay for site.
