TWO DAYS WITHOUT SLEEP IT WILL CATCH UP ON ME

first the by now famous two in one card that Dianne from The Three Greyhounds made for Mandy and myself as our joint anniversary card to ourselves, we can pull it out of the drawer each year I suppose. Then Mandy doing the weeding in the front garden, the first time Mandy has had a go at gardening which shows how poorly she considers me at present. I was up virtually all night with stomach problems and pain in my knee, got quite a few photos trimmed and in files on the computer. When I got home tonight we went and stretched out on the loungers and fell asleep for nearly two hours. I went to the doctors this morning but was told I was on the maximum they could prescribe without resorting to opiate based drugs. I've an appointment next Tuesday to have an epidural injection. LAST NIGHT DINNER AT THE BELLS

last night we decided to give the Bells of Peover another chance, the food was good, wine a bit pricey but overall not really much more expensive than any of the pubs in Cheshire. Working our way up the photos my starter, chicken liver with tapenade and something like dry stuffing, not sure what but didn't taste of anything then next up my organic white chicken with Wirral watercress and chips, what can you do with a chicken, not particular taste but then nothing wrong with it. Then my pudding, a banana split sundae, delicious-best part of the meal for me. The restaurant was full of business types, very full for a Monday night so they are obviously doing something right, has a Robinsons XP ale, very tasty. Service was attentive , bit noisy with business men shouting above the ever increasing row not exactly a quiet wedding anniversary meal but we'd give it another go some time. Access over the now badly eroded and dislodged cobbles is poor, surely they could sort some entry for disabled around the back from the car park. Rotten night, both Mandy and I were awake most of the time, my knee was worst its been for weeks even Diazapan didn't get me to go off for quite a while and Mandy was sick with her reflux problem. Tired out today, back from work and a nap in the garden

HAPPY 26th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

three are from Argentina, 1 from England where are the others from, my little teaser for the evening as we get changed and go out for our anniversary meal. A hot, sticky and busy day at work, I went down to Hole House Gas Farm at Warmingham to take some more shots for our inhouse advertising film. On the home front a little quiet for orders but they still trickle in. I do have more truck film from overseas but spread thinly between other material, a former USSR production is on the cards, I know I have a little from Greece etc. More Youtube clips on line, I need to get all the new stuff and links to Amazon. Next weekend its North Weald, Harlow is on the cards for Saturday.

SCORCHER AT BLACKPOOL

The end of an era nearly for Blackpool trams, I suppose just the September celebrations and it will nearly all be history,. It was a super hot sunny day with not a cloud from start to finish. I'm afraid its the last Totally Transport we'll attend with the stand, it really never took off and has had the dubious honour having the lowest takings three years running of any event we've been to, didn't even cover expenses this time. The trams more than made up for it, due to redevelopment work for the new light rail the trams terminated at Pleasure Beach. I got a bus up to North Pier, took 30 minutes waiting and about 45 mins to get there via a load of diversions. It wasn't much better getting back this afternoon, advertised service is a bit optimistic, grumpy driver as well. Due to football the road home was quiet, not sure who won, think Germany was winning when we left Blackpool, hopefully we'll get telly programmes back to normal if England are out.  The York and Yorkshire DVDs should be ready this week along with Blackpool, remember that EBay only has oldies and bargains our full shop is on Amazon links via the web site http://www.pmpfilms.com/, trailer via hyperlink to Youtube, when you watch them click an advert or two costs you nowt helps pay for site.

BUSY DAY IN YORKSHIRE

no pretence that the photos are representative of today's takings as most are on the video camera now but we had a fruitful trip starting in York , lots of interesting buses and quite a tally of operators really, sun shine most of the time. After that on to Harrogate where they tried to palm us off with stale coffee cake in the centre cafe anyway got it swapped and revitalised undertook the tiresome task of capturing Harrogate in muggy conditions, the only place in Britain without sun I suppose alsoi very windy. Then in to Skipton, interesting, semi sunshine, quite a tally again with operators as well as Pennine. Then we finished up at Keighly and I dozed most of the way back. Card arrived from Auntie Joan in Surrey, its our 36th wedding anniversary Monday, got a joint card for each other made by Dianne at the Three Greyhounds.

PHEW THAT WAS A STICKY OLD DAY

well what a day, hot or what, first thing I was trying to gets jobs done before I went off to the works pension fund meeting at Knutsford, a pleasant enough affair and passed quickly with not too much pain in my leg. Back home and then on with the jobs, gardener came and helped catch up with some of the clearance work I had been unable to do because of my back. Then I set about catching up on DVD covers, got through to the end of Gaydon. Had to load the car ready for Sunday MORNING at Blackpool Totally transport, the show is expected to end early die to football, Little Puddleton Rovers versus Bahnstadt Strikers or something, plays havoc with my soaps on telly, hope its over soon yawn.. OK still editing DVDs, had to redo the Stevenage master as it had a fault on the third section. In between blog, adverts, telephone, loading car, watching weather forecast we decided its York and Harrogate tomorrow.

MORE POLISH AND GERMAN DVD RELEASES

ok so I'm being a bit lazy, not as though I haven't been busy though. Tonight got a message through the darned EBay, a slagging off because I said I didn't like Shanghai on a Chinese DVD, well perhaps the chap should go live in China or better still North Korea if he wants to silence freedom of speech, why oh why are these people from EBay, what it it about that site in particular. Well nearly got all the covers for new DVDs done but tonight its the Three greyhounds. Visited Osteopath, even talking about spinal surgery, no chane say I, still the pain is concentrated in the knee area now, non the less painful but forgot to take painkillers to work, suffered consequences. Picked up bundles of photo stock ready for Totally Transport on Sunday. New wensite getting a lot of hits. No time too much to do, by for now

BUSY WITH DVD COVERS

what have I been doing today, well hectic at work, wasn't it hot, didn't get out much only to have a row at ASDA over the didgy memory stick I bought from them to use at their photo counter. Anyway it was all a rush and didn't get time to do all the things I wanted. The sciatic pain is now more under control with the pills I picked up yesterday, based on Tylex which i got in Brazil when I did my back in on the long bus ride from Chile to Argentina. So here are just some of the many DVDs which cover this summers exhaustive and exhausting coverage of Poland and Eastern Germany. I've got about 7 done so far also hope to have a clip of North Wales trucks on Youtube perhaps tonight. Bit tired sitting at the computer, osteopath would go bonkers, seeing him tomorrow morning. Isn't telly rubbish in UK with all this football-boring or what, no Corrie, national disgrace.

ANOTHER DAY OF PAIN

a sort of Merseyside, Southport, Blackpool mix as I had these to hand when collecting prints from ASDA ready for Totally Transport on Sunday. I've now made 2 of the 3 Gaydon DVDs and working on the final one tonight with uploads to Youtube to compliment them. Its been another hot sunny day, that's the bright side.  I am still hobbling around with terribly painful legs due to the sciatic pain. Drug dosages up, more prescriptions to collect tonight. If nothing works this week going to see pain specialist for lumbar injection next week.It was a busy day yesterday as most adverts have now appeared and the next batch have been sent off, its a relentless treadmill.
