FRIENDLY WOLVERHAMPTON

Working backwards to Friday, I fill up with fuel in Runcorn where they do it for you, saves getting your hands dirty, this time they put petrol in the deisel car so had to wait while it was drained and then refill, managed to pick up the spare cover for my still camera, quoted ?55 for sending away plus 4 weeks to do, paid ?15 for the spare and took a chance, it was a push fit and took 5 seconds. Saturday we went to the midlands.
First we did some filming in Woverhampton, what a wonderful set of crews, everyone responded with waves and smiles, lights flashing and thumbs up. The weather was bright but cold, this gets our prog started back in Feb finished. In the afternoon after lunch in the Irish pub in Birmingham city centre we went to the theatre. The Hippodrome is a great place but first we visited the National Trust Back to Back houses next door and the sweet shop

A great performance by WNO of Tristan und Isolde, the evening flew by, we had sandwiches and cake in the interval. We've had some of my family history this week so now something from Mandy, it stands in the halway at No17 and is a family heirloom with several generations riding upon this rocking horse which was restored by friend Sean Cavanagh in Ireland.
I'm trying to put stuff on e bay this evening but its going very slow.
