VOLCANIC DUST OVER LANCASHIRE

today's film trip was to Leeds and Burnley plus Accrington. Sunny blue sky all day but drifting over Lancs on the way back was an enormous red cloud which we presume was the volcanic ash cloud. Portugal trip next Thursday is looking a bit doubtful, still no flights over UK unto a least later tomorrow. It will take a week to sort schedules once the all clear is given. These shots are at Burnley and Accrington this afternoon. Bunley was spoilt as there was noisy building work going on opposite the bus station road, cutting stine was far too much to put up with and dusty albeit not volcanic. We then called in at Accrington which was almost like watching paint dry compared with years gone bu. Pilkingtons are just about alive with minibuses. Tonight we are out at Clonter opera Farm. I'm editing the London footage , our first on HD, you'll have read of the problems now overcome. Looking for a tripod which will fit into my camera bag for overseas travel, that and minute camera should stop the security hassles I get ( mainly in small UK airports with nothing better to do!)
