Mandy selecting some of our favourite West Cork cheeses at the English Market in Cork.
One for the Emergency Services fans in Cork again last Saturday.

Today we visited Preston, Chorley,Blackburn and Burnley. The weather was bright to sunny in Preston, loads of activity new buses on park and ride, photos tomorrow. Chorley was brief, friendly and bright to sunny. Blackburn was exquisite met friend Warren there, sunny all the time, wow hasn't the bus scene changed there, great. Burnley, it went cloudy, finished filming picked up paper at village shop with ice creams and sat in garden then washed cars. The rush towards the next trips is inexorable. We spoke to an author in Preston doing signings at Waterstones, got some tips. The cover should be ready soon. Hoping to put a reading from it on Youtube tomorrow.

ITS A CORKER

Hil and Seans latest cat just loves playing with water, taken last weekend in Ireland

Ellie dropping her ring, couldn't have taken that one if I tried, just lucky Sean puts the finishing touches to a bridle in his workshop
A lucky passing shot on the way back from Cork Decorated for the EU referendum campaign, I asked if they could move so I could get a photo of the bus, they all moved to pose in front, duurr.. I waited till it moved of, Michelstown.

Well off to Belgium next week, car in for repair while I'm away. Proof reading on book finished, cover nearly ready I'm told. Gardening jobs included tying up rambling rose between us and whinging neighbour, also got herbs planted plus tended to growing tomatoes. Nearly there but of course the weeds are growing on the bits i did first.

Not sure about tomorrow, must catch forecast tonight, Sunday I have more jobs about house to complete, it never ends.

MORE IRELAND IT NEVER ENDS

more views of Lismore Castle last Sunday afternoon
as you can see the Duke of Devonshire is into sculpture, the is one of the more understandable pieces, most are total rubbish, no doubt worth a mint
really like this Peony, notice my sleeve

to end another shot of the property we are considering taken at a short distance showing its rural credentials.

Hot and sticky in the garden mowed lawns, tied up climbing rose. A few jobs around house building up for the weekend. Looks as if I must go to Belgium in next few days for work, not too sure when, next week or after Poland etc.

Finished editing Cork buses, nearly ready to start the archive cine which is still staring at me

MORE FROM PMP IRELAND

four types of potato on one meal, only in Ireland, Sunday lunch at 8pm, hmm
our barn restoration project, will it come off, the challenge ifs first the planners
then of course removing the remnants of animal occupation!
the tin roofs replaced asbestos several years back but of course will need replacing with matching slate
this leads us on to our visit to Lismore castle gardens on Sunday afternoon, it was mainly bright although the wind was picking up, since we got home its rained continually, and very dark although quite sultry.

I've proof read the book to chapter 9, not bad going. Tonight I've already edited the Bristol rally and doing dvd, just Cork to go and then on to the backlog of cine derived material I must start on.

OK LETS GET BACK TO IRELAND

looks as if we are going to do Ireland in reverse order from the trip so lets start yesterday afternoon which wasn't a bank holiday there, just outside Dublin in a very high wind but bright enough, trucks galore, I got about 40 minutes recorded before time to head for the ferry.

Sunday night we went out for a nice meal, giving Mandy and Hil a chance to relax for a change after two nights cooking for us lads.

Tonight I've caught up with Leeds DVD and then edited Bradford.

I got the proof of the book, my autobiography A Smudge on My Lens, seems to be getting bigger by the minute, very good value too, due out Sept 1st, place orders now, link via my website

RENEWED ENERGY TONIGHT RATTLING THROUGH THE DVDS

still very much a Bristol affair with more views last Sunday afternoon at the Harbourside rally.

Tonight I felt a bit more up to gardening and the whole picture is coming together nicely, ever noticed real gardeners don't find time for garden shows.

Well nearly ready for Ireland, this weekend, weather forecast pretty rubbish, lets hope its wrong.
Just edited Hull trucks, hopefully I'll also get POPS rally DVD edited tonight. Then got Bradford and Leeds to do.

The EBay sale is really proving a success, have you had a look yet.

No rallies for a while until Blackpool Totally transport.

Today worked with publisher on book cover for A Smudge on My Lens. The proofs should be ready tomorrow.

TIRED ACHING LIMBS GETTING OLD PERHAPS

The super rally at Bristol harbourside on Sunday, the weather wasn't quite as hot as the photos suggest but the atmosphere was good and we enjoyed it.
The centenary of the Bristol chassis manufacture was celebrated and aptly we feature all Bristol buses here today

Problems with my car seem to go on and on, now it looks as if it will have to go back to the outfit called Sapphire who repaired the crash damage last June, they missed out several lots of bolts and wiring which has recently become apparent.

I'm still struggling to catch up with editing and covers, its been quite a busy day, the Ebay sale has caught on with lots of orders, we are having another couple in June, watch out for them. Nothing new on Youtube, no time, backlogs in everything although had a Guinness to try and ease my joints along with some Ibuprofen.

TRUCKS FROM HULL

Rushing around I suddenly remembered I'd omitted to show any pictures from my stop off in Hull last week, just near the docks, always plenty of action. It was really cold, the end of the fine weather

A bit more work in the garden plus clearing up the mess from the water board after they fitted the water meter. I'm still working my way through the editing back log, about DVDs to make before I contemplate the archives I've copied recently.

GREAT DAY AT BRISTOL

Leeds yesterday morning
The remainder feature Bradford yesterday afternoon when got drenched with the rain
New buses galore!

Today we were at the Bristol harbourside rally, for a change we broke our record for trading at Bristol and it was also the best for 2008, we met lots of friends old and new and the weather was bright, sunny and sometimes cloudy but quite chilly in the breeze. The vehicle attendance was extraordinary, they had a job fitting everything in, very friendly occasion, a rally we recommend to anyone. Left home 5.30 a,m back 7.30p-m, long day and early to bed tonight.

By the way bargain hunters we have a sale on Ebay at present for 7 days with 20% reductions on selected items.
