no time ti type everything again, first attempt to post failed and I lost it all, started on planting summer bedding, bank hols off to Ireland, possible Cork and Waterford. Another hot day, so much to catch up, nice bottle of Chablis 95 and roast this evening so that's your lot!

Today was the POPS rally at the Wedgwood centre at Barlaston in Staffs, a super turn our of interesting buses, trucks, cars and motorcycles. Some interesting pre war buses caused admiration and the running day aspect was well to the fore with frequent departures extended to include Stone. We are proud to sponsor this annual event which was bather in hot sunshine yet again, photos to follow.
today we visited the North East, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields and Sunderland. Newcastle was really interesting but we start in reverse order with scenes at Sunderland this afternoon. Rough doesn't describe this hole but the sun was shining and most of the idiots were on the beach or in the pubs so not too much hassle although I never feel comfortable there with my camera.

The urban depot in Sao Paulo, both systems have just one depot each these days, our friend Jorge got us a visit, quite a tidy facility.

this selection are on the suburban segregated Sao Paulo busways on the Saturday before I flew home.
Suburban Sao Paulo now nearly two weeks ago, the weather was in the 90s, phew it isn't far off that here today. I managed to get the lawns mowed and some more clearance work done on the border before my back starting pulling a bit on the torn muscle.

Well I managed to do a bit of gardening this evening, its been a really warm day, last night i managed to finish copying Bob Dalton's superb cine film, next I have a batch of Sheffield bus reels to copy. Picked up some new security lamps at B&Q which need installing and today we received our new 40" digital television, next we need to order the cabinet to house it.

more on Rosario Argentina week back, a mix of trucks trolleys and buses. Its a Bank Holiday here today and I'm taking another restful day to let my back mend, perhaps I'll treat everyone to an additional blog and a Youtube before the day is out. Working my way through the South American films and hope to start on the backlog of cine awaiting copying.
I had a bit of a mooch in the garden putting out bedding plant to harden off, I'm only days away from normal schedule so all is not lost although I have nothing to put in hanging baskets and the like so a trip to the nursery is going to be necessary. The new wide screen monitor is huge, taking dome getting used to.
ok sorry folks for vanishing again but my monitor went defunct on Friday night as I was downloading my emails, we had sister Yvonne and husband Graham with us , two great days and sad to see them leave tonight amidst thunder and lightening storm. These photos recall Rosario just over a week ago in Argentina. My back is still sore but well on the mend. After careful though we considered it best to have yet another relatively lazy day tomorrow and scratch plans to attend Truckfest at Peterborough. It chucked it down today but Saturday was glorious. We took Yvonne and Graham around Derbyshire then back into Manchester albeit not the most salubrious routes into the city. I finally got a new whopping big screen today at PC world, I don't even need my specs on as its so big. Mandy is in the background busy tidying the aftermath of the rejig, plenty of dust and rubbish has emerged. The garden continues to go untended because of my back problem.

as you can see the sun shine liberally in Argentina and as we approach the end of our look at trolleys and buses in Cordoba we recall the hassle from the bus station security guards even though i was across the road from the bus station filming, just like being at home eh. Well today my back has continued to make progress although any exertion sends it into spasm so taking it easy. Last night i had a few favours for work to do but tonight hope to have Valparaiso trolley film ready.
