BLACKPOOL FARCE THIS MORNING

Tychy a fortnight ago, not much running on a Sunday but much changed from my 1992 visit

before that also Sunday was Cczestochowa where a limited Sunday service was in operation, a disapointing day weather wisde, a gate guardian at the station.

back to the present, up at 6 and off to Blackpool in the vain hope that they would have lovcated stands in the building due to the severe weather warning, after watching stands and stick destroyed for other traders and societies we decided the safest and most sensible thing was to come back home so back with car unloaded by 9.30, bit of a blow but we never do much at this event anyway, pleasant if its sunny but Mandy has a conference in Blackpool later in the year and I should be able to update that weekend. Meanwhile lots of work editing Sheffield archives, and eventually the east European trip all lined up to fill in the day.
Another rethink on rallies, with price of fuel and continual poor weather we may cut back further on events.
