MERTHYR TYDFIL BUS RALLY

buses which caught my eye at Merthyr today, weather overcast but warm, good show of buses, trading quiet but picked up at the end. It is not quite like the old Bus and Coach Wales at Cardiff and Barry but most of the available space was full anyway.

BRISTOL BUSES DEAN FOREST

we ended up following the sun to Bristol, not a bad day, in the afternoon we went to the Forest of Dean, went once before to a bus rally, rained that much never got out of the car, this time saw not one bus that I could film, never found a cafe so went to Ross on Wye, nice drive and home fo tea time. LITERARY EFFORTS SOUTHEND BUSES

Well another busy day, almost ready to submit the manuscript, found an agent with a family connection.

Working on Bus Spot Southend, I know lots of people are waiting to see this one.

Weather forecast looks good for Merthyr Tydfil on Sunday, recent DVD on the town hence photos.

Saturday filming likely to be Coventry, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa.

CHEMICAL INCIDENT AT ELLESMERE PORT

today was fun, we had a tanker with acids on board leak a few hundred yards away, the road was shut and we ended up inside with windows shut awaiting instructions whilst the nearby motorway was also closed. Anyway with roads gridlocked when we escaped it was really interesting picking a route home. Thus a bit delayed starting tonight, usual profanities amongst Youtube, typical two faced yakee outfit, they give not one jot for morals of family valuers and thrive on obscenities and perverse clips, thankgoodness we've a few decent folk tuning in every day to transport material. Working on Bus Spot Southend. Tomorrow get covers ready for recent releases then down to the Three Greyhounds, 60s night today doesn't appeal.

CUT YOU UP INTO LITTLE PIECES NICE PLACE WIGAN

a quick run out to Wigan at lunchtime, wonderful sunny warm day what a treat in 2007. Otherwise still working on submission of autobiography, there's a lot to it.
greeted in Wigan by smack head, if you take a picture of me I'll cut you up in little pieces and throw you over the wall, nice people in Wigan eh, thankfully the bus crews were super friendly. On the Youtube the usual level of comments, want a date, sad b******d blah blah, they usually end lol, what does that mean, level of lowlife?
and they wonder why so many people are fleeing Britain!

A HORNETS NEST

Did the hedges out back this evening but ran into a hornets nest, braved the little beggars though.
Tonight working on Bus Sport Merthyr, getting ready for Bus & Coach Wales next Sunday at Merthyr Tydfil.

BLOOMIN HEATON PARK AARGGHHH

Just emerged from a soak in the bath to get rid of the mud and dirt from Heaton Park, put the camera away very early, it never re-emerged from the bag. It rained solidly all day, mud got worse by packing up time, there was also a Halle open air concert whose crowds were arriving as we left, in the rain it wasn't that safe, but thank goodness we wouldn't have to sit in it all evening. This was the second year the bus rally was a wash out, typical Manchester weather really. Wish I had stayed in bed this morning

AUTUMN SUNSHINE IN YORK

The weather looked dire in west so we headed east and ended up in York, later we went to the NT propert Nostell Priory where we rounded off a pleasant day with friend Sue.
Tomoorow its Heaton Park at Manchester, we have some special bargains for the one day only.

OUTLOOK DIRE FOR HEATON PARK

Isle of wight last Saturday, Ryde was full of scooters, 8000 of them, polluting and noisy, then there was Newport, drug addicts, had to be rescued by bus station staff Belss 'em. Then fell at Yarmouth cracking a bone, lots of red stuff, bruises all over, best forgotten now as its all mending.

GREAT BRITISH CARS AT STOKES BAY

as last wekend fast melts into memory my bruises are still multi coloured, but then you still haven't had the story, ah well perhaps tomorrow.
Busy at work but still investigating submission of my autobiography, got a copy of writers yearbook to help.
Also today got a TEAC vinyl to CD copier, works just as it should, deliveredc within 24hrs, super service. One stop push buttom downloads from your LPs to disc, great now I can have all my Donovan in the car.

WAIT FOR A BUS THEN 110 TURN UP AT ONCE

The Stokes Bay rally attracted well over 100 entrants for buses and a similar ammount of cars, here are a few shots early in the day as the buses arrive at the show ground. I've got both Stokes Bay and Isle of Wight edited and they should appear for sale at Heaton Park on Sunday along with other goodies!

TIRED BATTERED BRUISED BUT NOT OUT

as you can see the weather for Stokes Bay rally yesterday was mainly sunny and warm, a good turn out with over 100 buses present but not that many enthusiiasts, more needed at this most friendly and pleasant rally. Here buses return after the short road run.
Today my cracked finger hurts, the bruising is coming out and I've had two nights bad sleep, a rest is needed, more of the weekend as I get the energy to recount with photos over next few days.

REMEMBERING DUNDEE IT WAS A WEEK AGO

cara all packed and washed ready for Isle of Wight tomorrow then family birthday bash Sunday, Stokes Bay on Monday. Next weekend will be 2nd Sept at Heaton Park, hope that ones dryer than last year.
