STORMY WEATHER FOR LATHALMOND

Fife usually provides rich pickings for the bus enthusiast

The weather looks as if its going to be rough over the Lathalmond weekend which is a pity, I've got a couple of nice compilation programmes done ready for it plus lots of new Scottish releases from the past year.

A tidy in the garden after work in the afternoon sun, car back from another trip to the garage, hopefully all well for Scotland.

OF GARDENS BUSES AND SUNSHINE

Well another week flown by, most of the DVD stock for Lathalmond was ready yesterday, Mandy had polio fellowship meeting this afternoon, I'm just finishing off editing last weekends films. Then tomorrow off to Ireland for weekend. This was the gaden yesterday afternoon, a lovely hot sunny day but forcast in Ireland poor for weekend but then with a few pints of the black stuff who cares. Still busy at work and at home film orders seem to be picking up again.

WONDERFUL TUNBRIDGE WELLS BUSES

Tinbridge wells and Maidstone taken last Friday, Tunbridge certainly had the most bus interest, Maidstone these days is quite scant on buses save for Nu Venture ancient Titans doing the rounds.
Still trying to get my car sorted, steering doomed to forever steer to the left, hoping for new tyres, spanner light came on today, another trip to the garage, its never ending. Tidied in garden then edited East Kent trip from last week. Over to Ireland at weekend for Sean's 65th birthday.

COLOURFUL EASTBOURNE

What a colourful place Eastbourne was for buses, the local operator now threatened by competition, although little new between them, the latest buses more likely to come over from Brighton but hey the weather was good, all taken last Thursday.
Tonight tidied garden a bit, photos tomorrow of that, plus edited Herne Bay rally also last night finished the Orkney Collection, lots of Scottish releases ready for Lathalmond.

EAST KENT BUS VISITS

these scenes in East Kent last Saturday, we visited Canterbury, Folkestone, Dover, Broadstairs and Margate. Weather terrific as you can see and so much new in the fleet although plenty of older vehicles can be found.

OF OYSTER STOUT AND SUNSETS

Two sunset evenings at whitstable, a photo of the Solo taken in Margate, surely hell on earth, what a grotty hole of noise, chavs, ethnics and bad taste. Still at least the sun shone, we even had a banana split in town. Super position at Whitstable, nice bed and breakfast as well, really liked Herne Bay promenade although some strange types about on Sunday, a bit like Eastenders on sea I suppose.

HERNE BAY BUS RALLY YESTERDAY

a good mix of East Kent buses and a few guests, old and new in service, well run, busy day. Trading not bad for first attempt although few photos sold from the large E K stock we took. Cleared all the East Kent Best Ever DVDs which was good. Weather, hottest day of year, 90 degrees and clear sky all day, bliss for me, hell for others.
