Another week flying buy although I do seem to have got quite a lot edited , it’s a bit quiet on Ebay and the problems uploading on Amazon are unresolved as yet despite constant chasing. I've managed to change most of the ebay listings to read post free with basic price at £12, no change in overall price but should save whinges about postal costs. All DVDs have to be post free in UK on Ebay come next Feb.
Someone asked if they could play them on an apple, perhaps a Satsuma might work better? The book A Smudge on My lens has had a bit of an upsurge over the last week and Mandy has persuaded Waterstones in Manchester to stock it at last, it really takes some doing to get it on display. From, the punters point of view Amazon seems a cheap and easy option.
One spin off from the 25th anniversary party on Saturday night was that Mandy's cousin Eileen from Beaumaris on Anglesey came out with the name of Mandy's father, Harry Patterson, you may recall we found it was a Harold Patterson from cousin Trish's mothers diary but this was a confirmation, Eileen was only 10 and remembered sitting on his knee, she hadn't said anything before in case she had got it completely wrong so that’s a bit of good news although nowhere nearer tracking him down, we guess he came from Co Down NI.
After the present Manchester area films I'll be starting on some archives with London taking the lead ready for LOTS sale. Then the North Wales, Merseyside and Cheshire ready for Boyle St Christmas Cracker in December.
What about the bi election at Glenrothes, will the nationalists build on their last victory, and what about that bloomin , yawn , election do over the pond, who cares eh.
the pictures again all seemed to be muddles with script on blog, no idea what it will come out like, tried to post Mauritius trucks on Youtube twice without success over weekend, gave up
