another interesting visoit to Norfolk with lots of variety, plenty of other pleasant enthusiasts in town as well.

today , sorted out the lawns and edges then got the truck stock into order ready for Gaydon next weekend, hope lots of you come to see us there, weather looks set fair again after a wet spell. Also got the regular stock sorted after the Bristol debacle the other week when we had to whisk everything way in torrential rain. Next bus rally is Blackpool after the Malta trip.

Editing Ipswich and Norwich, also need to label up the Online archive material and send copies to John Bishop for file. Knee killing me, all other ailments chronic, must be the damp.

EAST ANGLIAN SUNSHINE

the garden was well watered last night, anyway seeking good weather we headed to East Anglia and filmed at Ipswich and Norwich, photos from Norwich appear first, lots of sunshine and quite mild if not exactly hot. Last night I got the cine film copied, short sequences but some gems, daren't mention anything as I'll get showered with requests, less said about Essex , all that super EN film! Oh Boy. Well there are a few clips on Youtube of recent films to keep you all amused, back late so ready for a rest tonight.

OUT SKERRIES SHETLAND

although only a week ago it all seems like another world, The Out Skerries on a wonderful sunny day, these small islands really are delightful, the population around 60 are mostly involved in fisheries, fish farming, scallops. There is one shop and Britain's smallest secondary school

Still much brighter than the weather forecasts predicted, knew i should have watered garden again last night. I caught up with all DVD covers before heading down to the pub. Next i will copy the London bus archive cine film from Online . Then I hope to start another regional bus archive film. The Devon and Cornwall release seemed to fall flat after initial interest though. I will also start posting again on Youtube tonight now that I've caught up. I managed to get some Dahlias on the was home and popped them in yesterday after work, lost the old ones over the frosty winter nights.

Our plane from Lerwick back to Glasgow, what an outfit Flybe makes Ryanair almost look good, awful website and what about Glasgow airport, of that I'll write later when I have more time, tonight after a few more DVD covers its off to the Three Greyhounds.

weather you wouldn't dream of in the Shetlands although it was cold. Last night I finished editing the Shetland DVD , tonight I need to catch up on covers for recent releases. The weather has turned cool and cloudy, no sitting in the garden tonight. Hopefully the colder weather will encourage EBay and Amazon orders to pick up, even our current sale hasn't produced much activity. Remember still plenty of copies of my autobiography to go round!

The pleasant lunchtime visit to Warrington yielded an encounter with someone who was about to purchase a Warrington Dart and also a customer who drives for the council who will hopefully have received a copy of his photo by now. Our friend John in Guangzhou has received his package of DVDs and photo CDs from our China trip and is going to promote PMP in China. The hot weather has struggled on another day , very enjoyable although not good for DVD orders, I did put an Ebay sale in place which has prompted some extra business. Editing has now gone on to the Shetlands, that will be followed by Cheshire and then I hope to copy the London archive cine film from Online archive. I also have some recent Spanish material by our friend John Bishop whose latest book on Southdown seems to have been well reviewed.

I'm waiting for a telephone consultation with my doctor on the results of my MRI scan the other week, generally things are at a low ebb although my knee with hell in Shetlands with the walking and damp atmosphere. We are getting all our truck stock ready for Gaydon weekend after next, a two day event and the ' Showbus' of the preserved lorry and commercial world. Our second attempt at a truck do to build on the initial Donington Park success. Also with trucks in mind I'm planning a couple of days tagged onto Mandy's next trip to Hil and Sean in Ireland, the demand for Irish truck material has been tremendous.

Another scorcher today, only minus I'm at work although I did manage to pop out at lunchtime and go to Warrington and catch up with the latest bus scene there. Meanwhile as ever another crop of Shetlands best. I've posted reviews of accommodation on Trip Adviser although I was surprised no one had previously reviews the Auld Haa with Tommy and Liz on Fair Isle. This is an amusing place with idiosyncratic Tommy providing zany wit and food in liberal doses whilst Liz sparks off and keeps the family peace whilst young Henry feeds the orphaned lambs. All good stuff, delightful place , the Out Skerries were another delight especially in the gorgeous sunshine albeit we were well muffled up, with wind chill its pretty damned cold out there.

It looks set to be good here again tomorrow, peaked at 28C this afternoon, my neck and shoulders are burnt, still more tidying in garden required plus I'm still on with DVD editing, that's never ending it seems, eventually I'll have time to do a new You tube entry, lots of good feedback and not too many nutters, the Karl Marx Stadt by Richard Lomas found particular favour along with New Zealand trucks at Christmas
